Our Hercules Sustain Plant Based Food Bags perform as well as regular resealable food bags with the added benefits to the environment, and keep your food fresher longer.
These plant based bags have been independently tested and certified by the USDA Biobased program to contain minimum 50% plastic (25% plastic for Freezer Bags only) made from ethanol derived from fast growing sugar cane. This has the double benefit of helping to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and helping to remove CO² from the atmosphere during the rapid growth phase of the sugar cane.

Our Hercules® Sustain™ Compostable Paper Sandwich and Snack Bags are 100% FSC certified, completely plastic free, recyclable and home compostable. Each paper bag has a compostable, easy to use seal so your sandwich, dry snack or baked product stay fresher for longer. These specially designed paper bags are durable bad grease resistant, and also have a write-on panel. When you use Hercules® Sustain™ Compostable Paper Food Bags to keep food fresh, you’re helping to keep plastic out of the environment.
When using the paper bags, do not heat or use in freezer. We do not recommend for storing wet foods.
